What is our stance on Innovations in Religion?
ج: على المسلم أن يقف بوجه كلّ بدعة في الدين بالوسائل السلمية وبالطرق الحضارية التي لا تنأى به أساليب ردّه لها أن يعرّض مرتكبها لأذى جسدي أو نفسي.
ومن حقّ الاُمّة المسلمة إستعمال كافّة الوسائل المتاحة للوقوف بوجه البدع إذا كانت ترى أنّها تولّد فتنة في المجتمع المسلم.
ومن حقّ الاُمّة المسلمة إستعمال كافّة الوسائل المتاحة للوقوف بوجه البدع إذا كانت ترى أنّها تولّد فتنة في المجتمع المسلم.
The Muslim should confront innovations in religion that some people show in the Islamic circle, and he/she should use the available tools to do that as long as the tools do not lead to any harm or to any provocation or agitation in the society. The innovation that deserves to be confronted is new adapted acts or concepts which have dressed up in the uniform of religion, or any abatement or increase in religion that the Ummah has a consensus on its invalidity
